DET

The NSW Department of Education and Training provides public education and training from pre-school through primary and secondary education to TAFE tertiary and other adult courses, as well as advice to the NSW Government on higher education.

DEEWR

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is the lead government agency providing national leadership in education and workplace training, transition to work and conditions and values in the workplace.

ASQA

The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is the national regulator for Australia’s vocational education and training sector.
ASQA regulates courses and training providers to ensure nationally approved quality standards are met.

    ASQA’s functions include:

  • registering training providers as ‘registered training organisations’ (RTOs)
  • recommending RTOs as CRICOS providers that can enrol international students
  • accrediting vocational education and training (VET) courses
  • ensuring that RTOs comply with the conditions and standards for registration, including by carrying out compliance audits

    • ASQA may also collect, analyse and publish information on the VET sector and VET providers

Job Services Australia

Since 1 July 2009, Job Services Australia aims to increase employment participation, play a greater role in addressing skills in demand and help individual job seekers, particularly disadvantaged job seekers, to find sustainable employment.

Job Services Australia also represents a new focus on the needs of employers, with a greater emphasis on helping employers find work-ready job seekers.

Jobfind delivers Job Services Australia programs to job seekers across Australia. We also deliver various Indigenous Employment Programmes in a number of communities.

JobLink Plus

Joblink Plus Ltd (Joblink Plus) is a not-for-profit, community-based charity with Public Benevolent Institution status that is set up for the dominant purpose of offering compassionate and tailored assistance to the long-term unemployed and disadvantaged in our society.
